HIL400 Ultra-Low-Latency (ULL) Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) emulator of power electronics hardware is a compact machine with dual core processor and built in IO system.
It samples all its inputs at a rate of one million times per second (1MHz) and updates all its outputs (and internal variables) at the same rate of one million times per second (1MHz). In this way HIL400 offers an unprecedented insight into the inner workings of power electronics hardware and its interaction with its control functions over the widest possible time scale (from the fastest to the slowest time scale control functions).
